When Floors Are Looking Dull

The purpose of a buff & coat process is to bring out and protect that beautiful sheen that makes hardwood floors so appealing.

Restore (Buff & Recoat)

This process removes the visible scratches and abrasions from everyday wear and tear seen on the surface of your wood floors. The buff & coat process not only restores wood but delays the need for complete sanding and refinishing for years while maintaining shine. It is an economical alternative to preserving both solid and engineered hardwood floors. A traditional hardwood refinishing can take a week or more to complete. Most wood floors can be treated in just one day without toxic fumes and a dusty mess.

A buff and coat will preserve the beauty of your hardwood floors for many years to come. By applying a new coat of polyurethane to your hardwood floors every three to four years you will eliminate the need to refinish your floors. Our buff and recoat service is only a one day process and can be done while your at work. Whether you have a prefinished hardwood or site finished we can apply a satin, semi-gloss or a high gloss polyurethane that will adhere to all hardwood floors including your prefinished and engineered hardwood floors.

Over time the top layer of your hardwood floor’s protective surface is slowly removed by the wear and tear of daily living. To maintain the life of your floor it’s important to periodically apply a new finish layer that restores its luster and protects its beauty.
